TruTag Technologies’ CTO to share thought leadership on high-resolution hyperspectral imaging
EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA ─ June 20, 2017 — TruTag Technologies, Inc., a leader in hyperspectral imaging technologies, today announced its presence as an invited speaker at the 2017 OSA Imaging and Applied Optics Congress, June 26-29, in San Francisco, California. Building upon his hyperspectral imaging (HSI) expertise, Hod Finkelstein, Chief Technology Officer of TruTag Technologies plans to unveil the latest developments in the company’s HSI technology and the path to its commercialization.
The Imaging and Applied Optics Congress is hosted by The Optical Society (OSA), the leading professional association in optics and photonics, home to accomplished science, engineering, and business leaders from all over the world. Featured topics at the congress include: 3D Image Acquisition and Display, Applied Industrial Optics, Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging, Imaging Systems and Applications, Mathematics in Imaging, and Propagation Through and Characterization of Atmospheric and Oceanic Phenomena.
At the congress, Dr. Finkelstein will share his experience in the development of TruTag’s robust and low-cost camera technology and ways this technology expands potential applications for high-resolution hyperspectral imaging. He will also touch on key performance trade-offs, data processing considerations, strategies for data reduction, and future trends and applications for hyperspectral imaging.
