The AIPIA World Congress attracts brand owners, packaging companies and suppliers in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and other related industries for two days of presentations, networking and exhibition. At this event, Mr. Steven Yoder, TruTag’s Director of Business Development, will present on the latest advancements in security features for food and drug packaging entitled: “Going Beyond the Package: What’s Next in Food and Pharmaceutical Security,” slated for Thursday, November 19th at 14:35 pm local time.
TruTag Technologies will debut and demonstrate its new Model 4100 hand-held optical reader, which brings satellite imaging technologies to the service of secure product authentication. Powered by a simple-to-use, cloud-connected, first-of-its kind, solid-state imaging and processing engine, the Model 4100 can authenticate in just a few seconds thousands of medicines, electronic components, industrial parts, packaged goods and other items marked with TruTag® microtags. TruTag microtags (“TruTags®”) are dust-sized particles made of silicon dioxide, a well-known and trusted ingredient that has been used in food and medicine for decades.
