TruTag Technologies Participates in Secure Document World

EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA ─ June 19, 2018 — TruTag Technologies, a leading security and technology solution provider, announced that the Company will participate in Secure Document World (SDW), a three-day conference to explore the latest thinking on visas, ePassports, driving licenses, national IDs, worker credentials, anti-counterfeiting, fraud detection, document design and more.

SDW is a world-leading event providing a global showcase for next-generation human identity solutions, focusing on intrinsic document security and on the new cutting-edge secure infrastructure now required to produce and use these advanced documents in live situations, such as the border. SDW will host a free exhibition featuring 150+ exhibitors showcasing a vast array of secure document technologies from around the globe.

At Stand M61, TruTag Technologies will demonstrate its capabilities in security documents, labels, and packaging, including its new SecuriLamTM product—the world’s first off-the-shelf, intelligent laminate used for supply chain security and traceability purposes. SecuriLamTM laminate comes with microscopic encoded silica particles, or “TruTags®” covertly pre-embedded into standard adhesive laminate film stock for easy adoption in label, document, and packaging applications. TruTags® can also be incorporated or applied in a variety of media relevant to security documents. TruTags® are machine readable and can be decoded in the field in seconds.

In addition, HinaLea Imaging, a division of TruTag Technologies, and a leading international solutions provider of hyperspectral imaging technology will demonstrate its fully autonomous high-resolution Model 4100H handheld hyperspectral camera which can be deployed for field anti-counterfeiting and security systems that rely on detection of precise spectral data. The HinaLea™ hyperspectral imaging camera is capable of providing high-resolution snapshot images at 550+ spectral bands over the full visible range.

“The conference provides our sister companies with the opportunity to showcase their respective value propositions to the secure document industry,” said Barry McDonogh, Senior Vice President of Business Development at TruTag Technologies. “TruTag Technologies’ secure packaging solutions are easy to adopt and offer incredible security at low cost. HinaLea Imaging brings one of the word’s most advanced hyperspectral imaging technologies with applications in forensic and material analysis.”
